High Chairs and Booster Seats
Family mealtimes should be a time where everyone can enjoy eating together. Children begin to develop self-feeding skills from birth and as they grow, the complexity of feeding oneself increases too! A recent study has found that children who are allowed to sit with their feet on a footrest when they're in the classroom have better balance, posture and reduce slouching than those without. For children to be successful at learning new skills, it's important that they're well supported in the process. Initially ensure your child is seated upright and comfortably placed on cushions or rolled up towels; you can use these as inserts for their high chairs too!
