Payments and authorizations
When you place your order, the total price of the products is displayed in your shopping cart. Depending on the method you use to shop with us, in addition to the price of the goods in your shopping cart, we may charge you:
The cost of the delivery or collection time slot (varies according to the time of day / day of the week)
A labor and packaging or package and delivery fee.
A minimum charge per cart of 3 euros if the total price of the goods is less than 40 euros for a delivery order or less than 25 euros for a Buy and Collect order.
After placing your order, we set up payment with your bank the day before your order expires. First, to make sure the card is valid and functioning, we pre-authorize it by charging a cent. This charge is automatically refunded to your account.
We then request authorization for the full amount of your order. This money appears as a pending payment on your account. This means that your bank holds the money and you cannot spend it. We take your payment only after you have delivered your order.
If the authorization is successful, we charge the full amount of the order after the order has been delivered. Any changes made to your order after it has been placed will appear as additional charges or refunds on your account. Please see I have more than one charge for my order for more information on this.
Since there is a gap between when you order and when you pay, we see a problem with the payment from time to time. This may be due to the fact that the card is invalid or has expired, there is not enough money in the account, or an error has occurred in your bank.
If we are unable to authorize your payment, we will send you an email to let you know there is a problem. If the problem cannot be solved in time, your order will be canceled.
To avoid payment problems, please:
make sure you have enough money in your account the day before the delivery date.
make sure that the data entered is correct.
make sure you have a valid payment card set up on your account.
